Band
About the Band
Medicine Bluff music is rock music with a red-dirt flavor. Delivered with the style and the swagger you'd expect from a hard-hitting rock ensemble, this music also connects on an intellectual level. It's emotional content is deep and thought-provoking, but the songs have a way of sticking in your mind.
In the summer of 2009, three men joined forces in southwestern Oklahoma to write and play original music. All three had years of experience playing in cover bands, and all three were ready for something more meaningful. The result is Medicine Bluff. Named after a local landmark (where Geronimo jumped to escape the calvary), the band consists of Gary Webb, Bruce Fennel, and David Adair. The music that Medicine Bluff plays is a mixture of rock, blues, and country. It's heartfelt and honest, and it merges the excitement of classic rock 'n roll with the emotional impact of traditional country. It'll move your heart and it'll move your feet.
Isn't it time to take your medicine?

The New Record
We are currently recording tracks for our second record. "Wasted Time" is the first single due out, featuring an emotional vocal from Gary. "Between Wichita and Abilene" is Medicine Bluff at our most countrified - a two-stepper with clean, crisp guitars outlining a tale about a woman who's lost her way. "Seize The Day" is one of the heaviest tunes we've ever written, sort of a Medicine Bluff meets 80's metal head-on stomp. "Emerald Eyes" is about a girl who just can't seem to venture very far from the nightlife no matter what the cost. "Drug of Choice" is a modern day love song with a twist. "The Feel" is a slow blues reinvention of a Munky Zunkel tune, written by Gary and Mike Price. "Too Far Gone" is a rock song, guaranteed to make you turn up the volume and bob your head. Stay tuned for more information on the new tracks as it becomes available. And, as always, thanks for listening!
